About the Event

Tiss the season to harvest and save the flavors of summer. There's nothing quite like it when making your own homemade pasta sauce. I will show the students the "slow" and rustic way of making this while also going over how to do a quick version and also how to incorporate some other fall flavors.

We will make both a meat sace and a vegetarian option. And we will make gluten free pasta for any students who need a GF option.  Our pastas will be store bought as we don't have time to make fresh pasta and sauce.

This class will focus on nutrition and the idea of eating a meal as a  community/family and also the many hands that go into prepapring a  meal. We will go over the history of the ingredients and how they came  to create this dish that has transformed the pallet of the world.
