About the Event
Join us for a special series- or single event workshop where we hike and take a moment to focus inward- be it breath, somatic movement, body awareness, or just mindfulness.Â
Time: 9:30 am on Tuesdays and 6:30 am on March 16 (duration is 1-1.5 hours)
Wear comfortable clothes, a hat, waterbottle, and hiking shoes. All trails are easy but on dirt paths. We will either stop along the way to bring awareness to ourselves, or we will do it at the end. Each trail and each group will determine our approach.Â
Each hike is seperate so please RSVP to each one so I know to expect you. This event is a pay what you you like so you hold yourself accountable to attend. You can pay here, or via Venmo to @homegrownurban. Please indicate the date in the notes.
As much as we love pets, please leave them at home so you can focus on yourself and connect to nature.
*note this event is a distraction free journey so you will need to silence your devices and abstain from the use of reminders, step counts, and headphones.Â
March 5- Penasquitos creek. Meet in parking lot near trail head just before you reach the Ranch house and by the Canyonside Park, Field 8.Â
March 16- Mission Gorge Visitor and Grinding Rocks trail. Park in the lot or street by the Visitor Center and meet near the trail kiosk.Â
March 19- South Mission Beach by the jetty. Â We will meet at the wall near the bathrooms at the end of the parking lot. Â Be comfortable to take your shoes off and get your feet wet.Â
March 26 - TBD
